The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland is proud to announce its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipient for November, Elliot Colon. Elliot, a sixth grader from Minot Consolidated School, is described by his teacher and principal as a quiet student leader who always sees the best in others. His cheerful enthusiasm and commitment to self-improvement both in and out of school personify the qualities of the Optimist creed, making him an obvious choice for the award.
