LYNDONVILLE, Vt. — Terion Moss pour in 26 points to lead the University of Maine at Farmington’s men’s basketball team to a 106-76 road win over Northern Vermont-Lyndon in North Atlantic Conference action Saturday.

Jack Kane also assisted in the Beavers’ large offensive output with 21 points, while Kyle Donlin added 17 and Drew Storey and Nathan Poulin contributed 11 points apiece.

Northern Vermont-Lyndon’s Mondwell Bukle led all scorers with 34 points.

CMCC 82, VERMONT TECH 69: Boston Caldwell and Michael Connolly each had 16 points for the Mustangs in their victory over the Knights in Auburn.

Leavitt graduate Wyatt Hathaway chipped in 13 points and Jaeden Henderson finished with 12 points for CMCC (11-1).

BJ Jackson scored a game-high 22 points for Vermont Tech (2-8), while Ben Mullet had a solid effort with 14 points and Jaylon Calvin dropped in 12 points.

EMORY 86, BATES 52: Cale Martens paced the Eagles (5-1) with 13 points in their win over the Bobcats (3-4) in a nonconference game at Colby College in Waterville.

Mason Johnson added to Emory’s offensive attack with 12 points. Albert Fallas had 11 points and Logan Shanahan scored 10.

Simon McCormick led Bates with 13 points and Steph Baxter finished with 11.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
NORTHERN VERMONT-LYNDON 78, UMF 71: The Hornets outscored the Beavers 26-19 in the fourth quarter to take the victory in North Atlantic Conference action in Lyndonville, Vermont.

Riann Fortin had a game-high 41 points to pace Northern Vermont-Lyndon (2-5, 1-0 NAC). Kadienne Whitcomb chipped in 12 points in the victory.

Grace Dwyer paced UMF (1-6, 0-1 NAC) with 21 points, while Maddy White dropped in 13 points and Jacqui Hamilton scored 12.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY
MAINE 3, BOSTON 2: Luisa Welcke notched a pair of goals as the Black Bears (10-10, 7-6 Hockey East) edged the Terriers (6-11, 5-8) in Boston.

Mira Seregely also scored for Maine. Jorden Mattison made 29 saves.

MEN’S HOCKEY
MAINE 5, VERMONT 1: Ben Poisson led the Black Bears (5-8-1, 2-5-1 Hockey East) with two goals as they completed a two-game sweep of the Catamounts (5-11-1, 2-10-0) in Burlington, Vermont.

Grayson Arnott, Jakub Sirota and Donavan Villeneuve-Houle each had one goal for Maine, with Sirota adding two assists. Victor Ostman stopped 18 shots in net.

Carter Long scored for Vermont. Oskar Autio and Gabe Carriere combined for 26 saves.
