LEWISTON — A repair crew is working on a water main break Sunday afternoon on East Avenue in Lewiston, according to officials.

East Avenue is closed between Bartlett Street and Webster Street, and is expected to reopen after the work is completed.

The work is expected to take until the end of the day, according to Lt. Derrick St. Laurent of the Lewiston Police Department.

The Public Works Department was not available Sunday afternoon for comment.
