PARIS — Oxford Hills Technical School is pleased to announce the Twelfth Annual Oxford Hills Tech Challenge on Tuesday, January 11. Tech Challenge is a showcase event in which students from 21 career and technical programs participate in skill-specific competitions and demonstrations for parents, community members, and others. Among the competitions and demonstrations are building mock-ups, movie making, vehicle diagnostics, vehicle painting, welding, pipe design, t-shirt design, PLC programming, chili and baking contest, bicycle painting, cookie contest, wood burning, chainsaw accuracy, computer troubleshooting and coding, business planning, vacation planning, window display, cube house and courtyard designs, ECE Jeopardy, fascinator design, a crime scene forensic scenario, a poetry contest, Allied Health demonstrations, and Electrical presentation. Competitions will be held throughout the OHCHS campus. The competitions are ongoing and concurrent, so members of the public are invited to visit as many different programs as they can for as long as they are able. The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. and an awards/medal ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m.
