The Rotary Club of Oxford Hills recently presented David Knox of South Paris with a Paul Harris Fellow Award.

A Paul Harris Fellow is an award with a $1,000 donation being made to The Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of Rotary. It is named after the founding Rotarian, Paul Harris, to someone who exemplifies Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self.”

Knox, the spouse of Club Treasurer Liz Knox, has been a huge supporter with many of the club’s service projects, including restoration of the Moore Park gardens and gazebo, beautification of the Pioneer Cemetery on Paris Hill, and many other projects where he just shows up, according to a news release from the club.
