LEWISTON — Yusuf Dakane scored 19 points and Eli Bigelow helped out with 18 as Lewiston shook off Scarborough with a 68-55 victory in a Class AA boys basketball showdown on Saturday.
The Blue Devils (10-2) led 30-22 at halftime. Jibril Holloman added 13 points for Lewiston.
Scarborough’s (3-9) Carter Blanche scored 14 points and Liam Garriepy had 10 points.
LINCOLN 60, LEAVITT 44: Gabriel Hager led the Eagles (8-4) with 22 points in a win over the Hornets (3-9) at Turner.
Leavitt’s Brett Coburn scored 20 points.
ST. DOM’S 72, SACOPEE VALLEY 49: Kyle Reed and Taylor Varney each scored 14 points to lead the Saints (5-6) past the Hawks (4-10) in Auburn
The Saints hit 14 3-pointers, with Reed leading the way with four treys. Jon Tangilamesu contributed 12 points to the Saints’ victory.
The Hawks’ Carson scored a game-high 15 points, while teammates Evan Coolbroth and Grady Cummings each scored 10.
FRYEBURG 67, POLAND 46: Joao Teixeira Orlando scored 20 points and Gunnar Saunders added another 11 in the Raiders’ (7-2) victory over the Knights (3-8) in Poland.
John Patenaude led Poland with 16 points, and Hayden Christner scored 13 points.
RICHMOND 73, BUCKFIELD 49: Wyatt Cassidy scored 30 points and had six rebounds to lead the Bobcats to the win in Buckfield.
Connor Vashon added 17 points and seven rebounds for Richmond (11-2), while Hunter Mason had nine points and four assists.
Buckfield (2-10) was led by Ayden Jefferson’s 21 points.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 75, WELLS 53: The Warriors (4-8) kept pace for a quarter, but the Patriots (10-2) took control in the second and cruised to their ninth straight victory in Wells.
The teams were tied 21-21 after a high-scoring first period, but Gray-New Gloucester seized control by outscoring Wells 21-5 in the second.
Nate Hebert paced the Patriots with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. Noah Hebert also drained three 3s on his way to a 17-point performance. Mikey Ryan (12 points) and Carter Libby (11) also scored in double figures for Gray-NG.
Caden Dufort led the Warriors with 13 points, while Keith Ramsey and Jeremy Therrien, who each made two 3s, scored eight points apiece.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 46, LISBON 42: Zach New scored all 16 of his points in the second half to lead the Falcons (6-6) to a come-from-behind win over the Greyhounds (6-5) in Rumford.
Mountain Valley trailed by 11 at halftime and by six entering the fourth quarter, in which it outscored Lisbon 16-6. New scored seven points in the third quarter and nine in the fourth.
Leon Salmon and Seneca Jones each hit three 3-pointers and scored nine points for the Falcons.
Levi Tibbetts was Lisbon’s leading scorer with 16 points, while Owen Smith and Chase Mailhot each finished with nine points. Mailhot also made three 3s.
DIRIGO 72, WINTHROP 54: Charlie Houghton went 10-for-11 at the free-throw line and amassed 33 points to help direct the undefeated Cougars (13-0) past the Ramblers (6-7) in Dixfield.
Dakota Tompkins added 12 points for Dirigo.
Winthrop’s Matt Beck scored 20 points and teammates Cole Bard and Carter Rivers added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

GARDINER 74, MT. BLUE 33:Megan Gallagher had 20 points and four assists to pace the Tigers to victory over the Cougars in Gardiner.
Lizzy Gruber added 20 points for Gardiner (13-0), while Taylor Takatsu chipped in four points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Mt. Blue (2-10) was led by Katelyn Daggett with 10 points and Caitlin Burke with nine.
LINCOLN 37, LEAVITT 36: Mariam DeLisle scored 17 points, including six in the fourth quarter, as the Eagles (4-8) edged the Hornets (6-5) in Newcastle.
Leavitt’s Gabby Smith was the only other player in double figures, finishing with 16 points.
RICHMOND 55, BUCKFIELD 23: Lila Viselli scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Bobcats to the win in Buckfield.
Kara Briand added 10 points and eight rebounds for Richmond (10-3), while Izzy Stewart filled the score sheet with nine points, six rebounds, six assists, five steals and five blocks.
Buckfield (2-10) was led by Addison Stevens-Belanger with seven points.
WINTHROP 55, DIRIGO 31: The Ramblers (9-4) trailed by one point after one quarter then started to pull away in the second en route to a victory over the Cougars (4-10) in Winthrop.
Winthrop, after trailing 9-8, outscored Dirigo 17-7 in the second, 13-9 in the third and 17-6 in the fourth.
Morgan Fichthorn paced the Ramblers with 15 points. Madeline Wagner went 9 for 13 at the free throw line and finished with 13 points, and Bella Littler hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points.
Grace Robbins topped the Cougars with 14 points, highlighted by four 3-pointers, and Jayce Brophy contributed 11 points.
SACOPEE VALLEY 56, ST. DOM’S 30: Brooke Landry poured in 29 points for the Hawks (7-7), who grabbed a 14-3 first-quarter lead and steadily pulled away from the Saints (2-9) in Auburn.
Emma Boulanger added 15 points for Sacopee Valley.
Ava Apodaca scored nine points for St. Dom’s.
KENTS HILL 61, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 31: Logan McDonald delivered 22 points to pace the unbeaten Huskies (10-0) in a home win over the Falcons (6-6) in Kents Hill.
Regina Sabirova added 13 for Kents Hill, and Rose Jenkins had nine. Sabirova and McDonald made three 3-pointers each.
Lacyce Boucher and Maisy Chase each scored six points for Mountain Valley. Boucher also tallied five steals, while Ali Mazza pulled down seven rebounds.

LISBON/LINCOLN/OCEAN SIDE/BOOTHBAY 3: ST. DOM’S 1: Remi Lebel scored two goals to lead the Eagles (8-5) to a victory over the Saints (8-5) at Watson Arena in Brunswick.
Sophie Cote also scored for the Eagles. St. Dom’s loan goal came from Emily Andrews.

LEAVITT/GRAY-NG/OAK HILL/POLAND 3, WINDHAM/WESTBROOK/BONNY EAGLE/SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Luke Gladu and Will Keach connected for the second time in the contest for the game-winning goal as the Kings (4-5) edged the Trailblazers (4-8) in Auburn.
Keach assisted on Gladu’s go-ahead goal in the second period, when the Kings rallied from 1-0 down to go ahead 2-1.
After Danny Hancock scored a goal from Aiden Toy to tie the game up for the Trailblazers with just over 10 minutes left in the game, Keach and Conner Boulay assisted on Gladu’s game-winner just over a minute later.
Sam Foley opened the scoring in the first period for the Trailblazers, assisted by Phil Traina. Nic Michaud scored unassisted to tie the game for the Kings in the second period.
EDWARD LITTLE 4, BANGOR 1: Andrew Clements scored a goal and assisted on another for the Red Eddies, who defeated the Rams by three goals at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Peyton Dyer, Brooks Hefty and Campbell Cassidy also scored.
Bangor’s Ty Walker scored in the second period.
Gage Ducharme made 17 saves for Edward Little and Liam Doughty had 22 stopped 17 shots for Bangor.

NYA 2, WORCESTER 1: Daxton St. Hilaire factored into both goals as the Panthers edged Worcester Academy in Yarmouth.
St. Hilaire and fellow Lewiston native Nick Pelletier set up Zach Stabb’s first-period goal to get North Yarmouth Academy on the board.
Stabb and Connor Wolverton — another Lewiston native — notched assists on St. Hilaire’s first-period goal, which proved to be the game-winner.
Aidan Farion made 26 saves in goal for NYA, which outshot Worcester 44-27.
