LISBON — Brothers Sammy and Manny Calder combined for 32 points as Monmouth Academy shook of Lisbon with a 55-41 victory in a Mountain Valley Conference boys basketball game Wednesday evening.
Sammy Calder had 19 points while Manny helped out with 13 points and went 4 for 5 at the free-throw line to help elevate the Mustangs to 12-3.
The Greyhounds’ (9-7) Levi Tibbetts scored the team-high 15 points.
SKOWHEGAN 59, MT. BLUE 49: The River Hawks (9-6) used a balanced attack to win at Skowhegan.
Adam Savage scored 15 points for Skowhegan, followed by Kyle LePage and Ryan Donoghue with 13 apiece.
Evans Sterling scored 15 points for Mt. Blue (10-5), followed by Jayden Meader with 11.
OXFORD HILLS 59, CHEVERUS 58: The Vikings (14-1) held on for a key Class AA North win over the Stags (11-5) in Paris.
Teigan Pelletier scored a team-high 18 points and Holden Shaw pitched in with 15 for Oxford Hills, which led 24-23 at halftime and 47-42 heading into the fourth quarter. Eli Soehren added 10 points for the Vikings.
Silvano Ismail poured in a game-high 30 points for Cheverus, including 17 in the second half. Leo McNabb scored six of his 12 points in the fourth quarter.
BUCKFIELD 59, WISCASSET 33: Jaiden Jack tossed in 21 points and Ayden Jefferson followed with 19 as the Bucks (3-13) dismissed the Wolverines (0-15) in Buckfield.
Jever Garricks scored 13 points for Wiscasset.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 51, HALL-DALE 50: Jaydn Pingree made a layup in the paint with 20 seconds left as the Phoenix (13-1) rallied from a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit to take the win at Farmingdale.
Pingree finished with 13 points and Jazmine Pingree added 12 for Spruce Mountain, which trailed 30-19 at halftime.
Amanda Trepanier scored 22 points for Hall-Dale (12-3), followed by Hayden Madore with 16.
SCARBOROUGH 46, LEWISTON 27: Caroline Hartley scored 10 of her 14 points in the third quarter, keying a 20-6 surge as the Red Storm (7-9) pulled away from the Blue Devils (4-11) in Scarborough.
Scarborough led 18-2 after one quarter, but Lewiston outscored the Red Storm 17-2 in the second quarter, cutting its deficit to 20-19.
Julia Black, Ellie Rumelhart and Emerson Flaker each added eight points for Scarborough.
Ella Beaudoin led Lewiston with eight points.
MT. ABRAM 50, TELSTAR 31: Bailea Haines scored 15 points as the Roadrunners (6-8) earned the win in Salem Township.
Teammate Abi Wilcox added 13 points, which included a 5-for-6 showing from the free-throw line.
Morgan Zetts scored a game-high 17 points for Telstar (2-11).
BUCKFIELD 55, WISCASSET 20: Addison Stevens-Belanger tossed in the game-high 19 points and Sarae Devoe chipped in 13 as the Bucks (3-13) breezed past the Wolverines (0-14) in Buckfield.
Quiana Hyman scored 13 points and went 9 for 11 from the foul line.

PORTLAND/DEERING 8, GREELY/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4: Jane Flynn had four goals and added a pair of assists to fuel the offense for the Bulldogs (3-12) as they handled the Rangers (0-17) at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.
Katie Martell added two goals and an assist for Portland/Deering, while Leah Sigfridson and Gabbie Harrigan also scored.
Zoe Trepany had a pair of goals for Greely/Gray-New Gloucester.
