The Canton Historical Society plans to host a history hour and spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser for the society.
The gathering will be held Saturday, March 18, at the society’s 25 Turner St. building.
People can spend the afternoon with members of the society, hear about four of Canton’s past residents, and have dinner and dessert.
The free program starts at 3 p.m., followed by the spaghetti dinner at 4 p.m. The dinner costs $5 per adult and $3 per child.
Doors open at 2:45 p.m. The venue is handicap accessible.
The society is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization devoted to the preservation and celebration of Canton’s heritage and history, according to a news release from Liz Rothrock, society member.
