As a parent of children who attended public as well as private schools, I would like to suggest that instead of requiring a financial audit of private schools to justify funneling $12,559 per student from taxpayers, the state should look to the results of that funding.

Better to ask, how are those students performing on standardized tests (Ohio, PSAT, SAT, etc.) compared to their peers who remain in public school?

It is now well known that despite huge funding increases to public school during the pandemic, public school students are performing very poorly. It is more important that the educational dollars are effective rather than how they are being spent.
