BETHEL — At this week’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Bethel, members were treated to a presentation on the Northstar Program, a joint, student-centered initiative of Telstar High/Middle Schools and the University of Maine 4H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond. Coordinators of the program, Lyndsey Smith and Justin Bondeson, provided an update on the activities and goals of Northstar and accepted a $15,000 check from our club, to help cover the costs of one of the “cohorts” for this next year. Club President Jean Benedict presented the check and is pictured with Lyndsey and Justin.
