AUBURN — A collision between a motorcycle and car on Center Street between the Shaw’s supermarket plaza and Target led to the hospitalization of two motorcycle passengers Saturday, according to local police.
Brian Jamison, 49, was travelling with his passenger, Carla Jamison, 38, down Center Street on his 2016 Harley Davidson when they struck a 2011 Kia driven by Jocelyn Coons, 18, according to a release from Auburn police. Sgt. Nathan Westleigh.
Coons was stuck in the intersection due to traffic congestion while trying to cross Center Street and proceeded on a red traffic light to get out of oncoming traffic, Westleigh said. Jamison’s motorcycle struck the side of Coons’ vehicle after his light turned green.
