LEWISTON — A Lewiston woman escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle flipped on its side as she was driving near the corner of Riverside and Main streets.

Jennifer Cote-Bell, 38, was not hurt in the 3 p.m. accident, Lewiston police Lt. David St. Laurent said. She was issued a summons on a charge of operating without a license, he said.

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox landed on Riverside Street.

The crash is still under investigation.
