Jim Caron buffs a 1937 Chevrolet on June 22 at Jim’s Auto Body & Repair at 197 Bartlett St. in Lewiston. Inside his business, Caron has a 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette. Caron does a fair amount of work on older, classic and muscle cars because he fixes parts rather than replacing them. “You cannot replace parts on a car like this because of the car’s age,” he says. “Therefore, parts need to be fixed, and there are fewer shops that fix parts.” Daryn Slover/Sun Journal
