POLAND — The Poland Spring Preservation Society is pleased to present the lineup for its annual Sunset Concert series. The Poland Spring Preservation Society was formed in 1975. The Society is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and preservation of the State of Maine Building and All Souls Chapel, which are historic, one-of-a-kind structures.
Its goal is to educate visitors about the history of Poland Spring. Today, the buildings are enjoyed as the site of an art gallery, weddings, and musical concerts throughout the summer months. The Society operations are directed by a volunteer board of directors, its executive director Laura Brown, and several staff members and volunteers. PSPS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
The Sunset Concert Series begins Monday, July 10, and continues every Monday thereafter, concluding on August 28. Admission is $5 per person. In the event of inclement weather, the performances will be in the dining room of the Poland Spring Inn.
The concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo where visitors will most likely witness a fabulous sunset. There are chairs available, but feel free to bring one or a picnic blanket. Poland Spring Bottling Company will provide complimentary water.
