Connections
NORWAY — Connect to loved ones on the other side. Come listen to how we are all connected in life and death with Gary Mckinstry on August 5 from 2-5 p.m. at Norway American Legion 212 Main Street. There will be Hors D’oeuvres, raffle baskets, and a door prize, all to benefit The Maine Honor Flight for Veterans. This event is sponsored by the Norway American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82. Tea Room
NORWAY — On July 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Norway’s Music and Arts Festival, visit the Marigold Tea Room at the Norway Museum and Historical Society for a slice of homemade pie and a cooling summer drink for a $5 donation. The Historical Society (and Tea Room) is located at 471 Main Street in Norway.
Supper
WATERFORD — On Tuesday, July 11, from 5-6:30 p.m., there will be a public supper with the following menu: baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages, and strawberry shortcake. Strawberry Fest
OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Historical Society invites you to our annual Strawberry Festival from 4-6 p.m. on July 9. Our Strawberry Festival, featuring hand-picked strawberries, homemade whipped cream, and biscuits, will be served outside the Bell Hill Meetinghouse at the top of Bell Hill Road in Otisfield. The cost of the shortcake is $5. In addition to enjoying the shortcake, you are invited to explore the interior of the meetinghouse, where Maine artist, Ulla Hansen, will be showing works in oils and pastels. Her paintings will be available for purchase. In addition, Otisfield’s only remaining one-room schoolhouse, also built in 1839, will be open for tours.
Fair
CASCO — The Casco Village Church United Church of Christ is once again hosting our annual ‘Open Air Fair’ on the Church Grounds, Saturday, July 8 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.! This year will feature our Flea Market, vendors, food booth, auction board, plant sale, raffle calendar, & coffee & donuts! Please come enjoy the fun, sun, people, and awesome deals!
