PARIS — The Paris Public Library is holding its traditional “last Saturday of July” used book sale on Saturday, July 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., downstairs at the Deering Memorial Community Center, which is located at 39 Main Street in Paris. The community center is across Church Street from the library.

The sale will feature thousands of titles and is composed solely of items, in good to excellent condition, donated over the past year to the library. The selection will be all original, never offered at a previous sale.

Shoppers are asked to simply make a contribution of their choice for the items they select. Proceeds from the sale will help purchase children’s books for the library’s collection.

Given the uncertainty of this summer’s recent weather, the sale will be held in the Community Center, rain or shine. Having the sale indoors will also allow the sale to offer more items.

For more information, please contact the Paris Public Library by phoning 207-743-6994 or emailing paris.public.library@MSLN.net. The library presently has enough books on hand for this and future sales.
