AUBURN — The Lost Valley Patrol — a division of the Nation Ski Patrol, a non-profit comprised of mostly volunteer patrollers — plans to hold a fundraiser from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Lost Valley, 200 Lost Valley Road.

Lost Valley’s brewpub will donate 20% of all food sale that night to the LV Ski Patrol organization.

In addition to the dining fundraising, there also will be a dunk tank from 4-7 p.m. with special guest dunkers. There are more than 30 items up for raffle, a 50/50 and a silent auction for bigger ticket items like a Lost Valley season pass.

Live music will be provided from 6-9 p.m. This event is open to the public.

Each year the Lost Valley Ski Patrol responds to on-hill incidents. It is consistently patrolling the mountain to help keep people safe on the mountain and during other outdoor activities. In addition to its on-hill duties, the Lost Valley Ski Patrol also hosts several training and re-certification events for individual patrollers and candidates in the region, according to a news release from Travis Dow, assistant general manager and marketing manager at Lost Valley.

Nearly every Wednesday night in the spring, summer and fall, Lost Valley hosts various nonprofits for dining fundraiser nights at its brewpub, which has generated over $100,000 in funds for community organizations, individuals and groups since 2019.
