Artwork by Kim Farwell will be on display through the month of August at the Art & Ale Window at Gritty’s in Auburn.
Farwell has been interested in art since she was a little girl. As a teen, she could often be found with a drawing pad and colored pencils. As she got older, her interests veered towards painting and she started to learn on her own. Two years ago, she joined an adult art class at Wicked Illustrations in Lewiston and continued to learn and improve her painting skills, dabbling in many mediums such as oils, open acrylics, watercolor, alcohol inks and acrylics – which seem to be her preference. She enjoys painting landscape scenes and enjoys challenging herself. Her paintings have been hung in the Wicked Illustrations studio for sale and have been sold and hung in homes as far away as Ohio.
