Angelo started his life as a feral kitten, and with a lot of time in a wonderful foster home, he’s now a cuddly guy. He’s likely going to need a little time to adjust to a new living situation but once he’s settled in, his new people will have a wonderfully playful, affectionate companion. He sometimes likes lap cuddles, although he seems to prefer sitting next to you with his head in just the right place to head butt you when you’re not fast enough with scritchies. Angelo loves Churu-like sticks – especially the cheaper knock-off version Dollar Tree carries – and comfortable beds. Angelo does okay with other cats; we’re not sure about dogs. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open for general visits or cat adoptions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment; dog visits are always by appointment).

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
