PARIS — Officers from three law enforcement agencies quickly located and arrested a suspect Saturday night following a robbery at the Big Apple convenience store at 102 Main St. in Paris, according to officials.
Greggory Smallwood, 21, of Norway was arrested at about 10:10 p.m. and charged with robbery, according to Chief Michael Dailey of the Paris Police Department.
Dailey said the suspect reportedly entered the store at about 9:50 p.m., brandished a knife and demanded access to the cash register. The robber left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The store clerk was evaluated at the scene by emergency workers and required no further medical attention, Dailey said.
The Paris and Norway police departments and Oxford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the robbery.
Dailey said Sunday he could provide no further information and the investigation was ongoing.
