LEWISTON — Three people were arrested on a variety of charges Friday after police conducted a search at a Pierce Street apartment.
Police said crack, fentanyl and prescription drugs were seized, along with $1,450 in drug proceeds and a loaded handgun.
Terry Higgins, 36, who rented apartment 1 at 102 Pierce St., was charged with criminal conspiracy and possession of cocaine. She was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn where her bail was set at $25,000.
Bryan Cobb, 40, of Brooklyn, New York, was charged with aggravated drug trafficking. Known on the streets as “P,” Cobb was also jailed and held on $5,000 bail.
Also arrested was Heather Christian, 20, of Lewiston, who was charged in five felony theft warrants. Her bail was set at $1,100.
The arrests was the culmination of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at 102 Pierce St., police said.
“The Lewiston Police Department will be working with prosecutors and additional charges are expected on the involved parties along with additional individuals,” police wrote in a press release.
The search was conducted by the department’s patrol division along with officers from their Crime Reduction Unit.
