Our cat spaces are still overflowing! We’d like you to meet just a few of the wonderful cats and kittens who are waiting for a home.
Melody
Melody’s name is very fitting since she often sings beautiful melodies while being petted. She is a very sweet girl, approximately 2 years old, who enjoys attention and having her bum scratched.
She likes to explore and will often come out of her cage while we are cleaning and go over and underneath everything, smelling all the new smells she can find. She doesn’t care for the company of other cats (and we assume she wouldn’t appreciate a dog, either) so she will need to be your only pet.
Slim Jim
Slim Jim is a handsome boy who does fine with other cats. He is living with many in our cageless community room right now. He’s a great boy who will follow you around.
Who could resist that face? Slim Jim is an adult, we aren’t sure of age but he will add a lot of personality and love to your home.
Qetsiyah
Qetsiyah – is a beautiful 4-month-old kitten, just one of the many kittens we have who are available now or in the very near future. Qetsiyah is ready to go home now and settle into a happy life. You’ll have a hard time not staring at this cute face all day.
Because the shelter has so many cats right now, we are offering $50 off the adoption fee of any adult cat (1-8 years old), through September 15. Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open for general visits or cat adoptions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment; dog visits are always by appointment).
Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
