Rabies
NORWAY — Responsible Pet Care is holding a rabies vaccination and microchipping clinic at Norway Fire Station on Saturday, September 9. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the clinic will end at 11 a.m. $20 for rabies and $25 for microchipping. For more information, call Responsible Pet Care at 743-8679.
Club meeting
NORWAY — The next meeting of the Heywood Club will be held on Monday, September 11 at 6 p.m. at the clubhouse at the 4 corners on Crockett Ridge. We will have an officer from Norway PD speak about re-establishing our Neighborhood Watch Program. This meeting will be open to anyone in the neighborhood, including spouses and significant others, members as well as non-members. Please help spread the word. The more attendees, the more information will be shared. Refreshments will be available.
Crafters
PARIS — On November 4, Boy Scout Troop 130 will be holding a Craft & Vendor Fair at the Paris Fire Station from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafters and vendors can rent one table for $20 or two tables for $35 (chair included). If you would like to rent a table, please contact Lisa at 890-4469 or email lisam.mccann@yahoo.com for an application.
The application and payment deadline is October 20. Mark your calendar for this event. The Scouts will be serving a light lunch, snacks, drinks, and baked goods, and there will be a table with raffle items. The Paris Fire Station is located at 137 Western Ave. in Paris. All proceeds from this event will benefit Boy Scout Troop 130 of South Paris. This fundraiser will help the Troop pay for merit badges the Scouts earn, field trips, campouts, and more.

OXFORD — A Huge Yard Sale will be held on Sept. 9 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at 254 Webber Brook Road, Oxford, The Rock House Teen Center. Raising money to support the teen center. Nothing is priced, taking donations!
OTISFIELD — Otisfield Community Hall Everything Sale will be on September 30 at the Community Hall on Route 121. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Set up at 8 a.m. The table rate is $10 and it will benefit Otisfield Community School field trips. Crafts, good yard sale items, collectibles, ‘treasures’, baked goods, and more. For more information, call 595-4242.
Race
WATERFORD — Waterford Fall Foliage 5K Road Race, Fitness Walk, and 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit the Tony Waldeier Scholarship Fund. This event will be held on the Waterford Common on Sunday, October 8, and includes a Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the Waterford/Harrison P.T.O.
