OXFORD — A man suffering a medical emergency Tuesday afternoon drove his SUV into a house on Coldwater Brook Road, Oxford Patrolman Andre Chasse said Wednesday.
Richard Fish, 53, of Montana lost consciousness while driving a Chevrolet Suburban. It broke an electrical pole before slamming into a single-story home at 143 Coldwater Brook Road about 2:30 p.m., the officer said. It landed on a woodpile in the basement.
Fish was taken to the hospital with minor injuries unrelated to the medical emergency, Chasse said.
The homeowner was in another section of the home and was not injured, he said.
The home was severely damaged and had to be propped up to safely remove the truck and tow it away.
