I’ve spoken out against Donald Trump and his Republican cohorts for years. It seems that their main achievements are against the American people and against democracy.
It used to stun me. Now it’s gotten to the point where it has become just “more of the same.”
Republicans have done their best to make it harder for anyone to vote who is not a Christian, white male.
Last year, Republicans voted against the Fairness for 9/11 Families Act, which provided compensation and relief to victims and their surviving family members, including widows and dependent children. This year, Republicans who voted against that act shared touching messages (“never forget” is touching) to commemorate 9/11 this year.
“More of the same.”
During a 2016 Republican primary debate, Trump said that he lost “hundreds of friends” on 9/11. It was a lie then, and it’s still a lie. This particular lie has been termed Trump’s “most vile lie.”
One may doubt or disbelieve what I say about Republicans or former President Trump, but they are all facts waiting for people to find them online.
Why would I lie? I’m not a Republican.
