Audra holds her pinwheel Sept. 21 while attending a school rally to celebrate “Pinwheels for Peace” at Fairview Elementary School in Auburn. The program recognizes the International Day of Peace and is celebrated by elementary school children worldwide. The local students plant the pinwheels on the school lawn to be visible to parents picking them up and to others in the community.
