NORWAY — The Norway Country Club Ladies Golf Association recently presented a check for over $18,500, the proceeds from the Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament held in August, to Diane Madden, Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.
The 10th Annual Drive Out Cancer Tournament, organized by the NCC Ladies Association was held on August 10, 2023, at Norway Country Club. The event included a basket raffle and silent auction in addition to an 18-hole scramble golf tournament.
Gold sponsors were Doug and Sue Craib, Kathy and David Greenleaf, Betty Rowe, and Twin Town Homes, Inc.
Silver sponsors were The Goodwin Family, Grover Gundrilling, Inc., Marge and Bill Medd, Ann and Peter Noble, and Stephens Memorial Hospital.
