We have more fantastic felines who are hoping for their furrever homes this week. Our shelter is still overflowing with many more cats from the community waiting to come in. Raisin and Grape are a beautiful and bonded pair of sisters who are just under 3 years old. Their former family could no longer take care of them, so they find themselves waiting for their happily ever after. They are friendly girls who are good with other cats. They need to be adopted together and will reward you with twice the love.

Boysenberry is the sweetest big boy you’ll ever meet. In the few months that we’ve had him, he has done a big 360 and gone from super shy and scared to extremely loving and beyond happy. He is living in our cageless community room, which has helped him tremendously to come out of his shell. Because of this, we believe he will do best in a house with other cats. At this time, we do not know how he would do with dogs. He will probably need some time to adjust to a new home just as he did here, but once he’s settled in, he’s the best kitty ever.

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills is a no-kill, non-profit shelter and adoption center for cats and dogs, and the holding area for stray dogs for 12 towns in Oxford County. The shelter is located at 9 Swallow Road in Paris and is open for general visits or cat adoptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. (Other days by appointment; dog visits are always by appointment).

Responsible Pet Care operates a thrift shop called Pawsibilities. It is located at 132 Waterford Road in Norway and the store hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All the money raised at Pawsibilities supports RPC.
