PARIS — Ryan Ricci is a member of the OHCHS Class of 2009. He attended Johnson & Wales University, earning an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. His college internship brought him back to the Oxford Hills where he decided to try to make a positive change.
Ryan is on the Board of Directors for Maine Vocational Region 11, he coaches girls’ high school basketball, is a substitute teacher at OHCHS and OHMS, and runs the Jasper Horecky Memorial Scholarship.
Ryan is dedicated to supporting others and does so through a softball scholarship, hosting an annual breast cancer awareness fundraiser, by sponsoring a play through OHMPAA, and by sponsoring many youth athletic teams. Ryan also started the Christmas for Kids basketball game, which has collected thousands of gifts for area youth.
Through the restaurant 290 Main Street, which Ryan operates, one of his goals is to bring nationally signed musicians to the area.
OHCHS thanks Ryan for his service to the Oxford Hills.
