I am writing to endorse Matthew Agren for Lewiston School Committee representative at-large.

I had one of the best conversations I’ve ever had with any School Committee candidate when he recently visited my home. Matt sincerely cares about the quality of education and the safety of students. Walker safety was a particular priority, made newly urgent by recent accidents involving children on heavily trafficked streets.

I was impressed with Matt’s down-to-earth authenticity and common sense. He told me up front that he is not a politician, and we talked about the importance of integrity in politics. We talked about the necessity of putting children’s educational outcomes before politics, and that’s when I knew Matt was the best candidate for at-large representative.

Matthew Agren is running because he cares about improving the quality of Lewiston children’s education. Matthew Agren is the change the Lewiston School Committee deeply needs.
