With dirty politics and vitriol playing out on the national scene, it is refreshing to endorse an ethical candidate for local public office. I hope people join me in voting for Megan Parks as she seeks her fifth term on the Lewiston School Committee.
Parks analyzes challenges within the school system without bias and encourages parents, students, school staff and administration, and the community to help define problems and seek solutions.
Her belief: Discover what is best for the students, then do it.
Born in Lewiston, a graduate of Lewiston High School, Megan knows our community. She is in practice as an addiction and substance abuse counselor in Lewiston, a position giving her insight into one of our city’s leading problems.
If people want a representative who speaks her mind and sticks to her principles, without bringing local politics down to a trash-talking level, vote for Megan Parks.
