As a Lewiston Ward 7 resident and property owner in Ward 2, I’m voicing my support for Paul Beauparlant, current Ward 7 School Committee member, and Sue (Bergeron) Longchamps, Ward 2 City Council candidate.
Serving alongside Paul, I have observed his dedication to examining issues meticulously before casting votes. He does this through the lens of a long-term educator, which is a perspective with immense value. Educational experience matters, and it would be hard to find anyone with more experience than Paul.
A lifelong Lewiston resident, business owner, parent and advocate for Lewiston’s most vulnerable, Sue brings a balanced compassionate perspective to the City Council that has been sorely absent in recent years. Sue has single-handedly revitalized the neighborhood surrounding her Pine Street store, improving community safety and providing hope and mentorship to folks who are often overlooked.
Sue is the kind of boots-on-the-ground, hardworking representation Lewiston needs and deserves on the City Council.
