NAPLES — Logan Berube scored twice and had an assist in Leavitt’s 5-2 boys soccer victory over Lake Region on Friday.
Brayden Greenlaw chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Hornets (4-10). Max Thibault and Bradley Dupile were the other Leavitt goal scorers, and Serogzha Bezhenar recorded an assist.
Leavitt keeper Alex Corey made eight saves.
Dylan Blair and Sam Burnham score for the Lakers (1-12), and Justen McCubrey made 11 saves.
ST. DOMINIC 6, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Matt Fecteau and Donel Tangliamisu scored two goals apiece, and the Saints (4-7-1) downed the Hawks (0-13) on senior night in Auburn.
Connor Cyr and Tim Ouellette added a goal apiece.
MT. ABRAM 1, GREELY 0: Bear Rollins finished a rebound with nine minutes left, and the Class C Roadrunners (13-0) held on to beat the Class B Rangers (8-4-1) in Cumberland.
Morgan Thibodeau picked up an assist on the goal.
Logan Dube made six saves for Mt. Abram, while Landon Dominski stopped three shots for Greely.
GIRLS SOCCER
MT. ABRAM 4, OAK HILL 1: Four different Roadrunners (5-7-1) found the back of the net in an MVC victory in Wales.
Bella Dereszynski, Celia Rose, Abby McCarty and Edna Bilodeau scored for Mt. Abram. Goalie Jany Pepin made five saves.
Kaylynn Washburn scored a first-half goal for Oak Hill (1-12), and keeper MacKenzie Vattaso stopped seven shots.
DIRIGO 3, WISCASSET 0: Sophie Nino scored all three goals — one in the first half and two in the second — as the Cougars (3-8) beat the Wolverines (2-8) in Wiscasset.
Autumn Knox assisted on the first goal. Madison Knowles stopped 14 shots for her first shutout.
BUCKFIELD 1, RANGELEY 0: Cora Brewster scored off a direct kick in the second half to push the Bucks (8-5) past the Lakers (8-3) in Rangeley.
Buckfield had 17 shots towards Rangeley’s net.
Kianna Finnegan stopped all five shots she saw for the Bucks to earn the shutout. Kylie Slagg had nine saves for Rangeley.
Buckfield coach Larry Thornton said that Cori Merrill and Rangeley’s Breezy Quimby were defensive standouts throughout the game.
VOLLEYBALL
BRUNSWICK/MT.ARARAT/MORSE 3, LEWISTON 0: The Dragons (9-5) swept the Blue Devils (4-8) in three sets 25-16, 25-20, 25-7 in a KVAC match in Lewiston.
Kenzie Garcia went 12 for 12 in serving for Lewiston with four aces, seven digs and an ace. Teammates Nadifo Heban had five kills and four digs while Ava Marquis had five digs.
Lewiston won the junior varsity contest in two sets 25-16, 25-20.
FIELD HOCKEY
LISBON 2, OAK HILL 1: Tiana Seaborne and Riley Hoyle scored as the Greyhounds (3-8-1) won in Lisbon.
Grace Behne scored for Oak Hill (5-7-2).
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 3, DIRIGO 1: Olivia Mastine had a trick to lead the Phoenix (12-1) to a win over the Cougars (10-2) in a MVC showdown in Jay.
Mallory Clark made four saves for Spruce Mountain.
Lana Waite scored Dirigo’s only goal, and goalie Keira Kelly made five saves.
WINTHROP/MONMOUTH/MARANACOOK 6, TELSTAR 0: Madeline Wagner score four goals as the Ramblers (11-2) defeated the Rebels in Bethel.
Sienna Beauchesne and Kylee Mansir also scored. Olivia Huri had an assist.
Cyara Harriman made three saves for the shutout.
Lindsy Stephenson turned aside 21 shots in the loss for Telstar (1-11).
