I am writing to endorse Carl Sheline for a second term as Lewiston’s mayor.
As an artist and downtown Lewiston business owner, I have deeply appreciated his support for small businesses and the arts. He is a mayor who shows up and genuinely cares about the city and its people.
He remains professional and direct, yet approachable, in his role and is well known to ask, “How can I help? Is there anything I can do?”
I am confident he would continue his work to shine light on Lewiston’s positive aspects while taking the necessary human approach to issues such as education, drug use, homelessness and housing.
I hope residents join me in voting for Carl Sheline so we can continue to move forward.
