BETHEL — Wyatt Lilly made the most of his last home game at Telstar, catching three touchdown passes on senior night as the Rebels fell to Maranacook 52-28 in an 8-man Small South matchup Saturday afternoon.

Lilly caught scoring strikes of 45 and 55 yards from Brody Walker, then added a touchdown catch from backup quarterback Izacc Greenberg after Walker went down with an injury.

“He was like on fire,” Rebels (2-5) coach Tim O’Connor said of Lilly.

Fellow senior Gavinn Martin also scored for the Rebels on homecoming, returning a kickoff for a touchdown before also leaving the game with an injury.

Cruze Kimball, another senior, played “awesome, as usual,” on defense, according to O’Connor, racking up 12 tackles to go along with two fumble recoveries.

“I’m pretty proud of those boys, because they didn’t give up,” O’Connor said, noting how tough of an opponent the Black Bears (5-2) were.
