NORWAY — Frank Farrell of Minot, has been promoted to Vice President, Information Systems Manager, at Norway Savings Bank. Frank joined the Bank in 2013 as a Software Support Specialist in the IT department.
His extensive background, education, and IT experience, allowed Frank to quickly acclimate to the IT team and related responsibilities. Since day one, Frank has demonstrated a commitment to superior customer service and operational excellence as a member of the IT Network team. He’s embraced every new challenge as an opportunity and demonstrated a natural ability to lead, which supported his growth in the department.
Frank holds a BS degree in Industrial Technology with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine along with several professional certifications including, CompTIA A+ and Network +, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, VMWare Certified Professional, and Certified Virtualization Professional, and is a LabTech Certified Professional.
As Vice President and Information Systems Manager, Frank will continue to manage mainframe operations, expand his oversight of critical information systems applications, including database servers and related architectures, assist in strategic planning, budgeting, and project management, and will be a key player in vendor management.
