Girl Scouts of Maine plans to host its annual Transforming Leadership Conference from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
The event will be held at the University of Maine at Orono. The exact event location will be shared with participants after registering online to ensure the safety of the Girl Scouts.
This opportunity to gain skills through a variety of expert-led workshops is open to the adult public, as well as Girl Scout members and non-members in grades 6-12.
This event, sponsored by KeyBank, will feature an assortment of 60-minute workshops led by experts in the field covering a variety of topics, such as leadership styles, STEM, college prep, self-care, financial literacy and the outdoors.
Registration ends Monday, Oct. 23.
