NORWAY — Palestinian rights activist Susan Jacoby plans to speak about the Israel/Palestine conflict at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.
The talk will be held in the First Universalist Church of Norway’s concert hall at 479 Main St.
Jacoby, an activist since 1973, has been on several delegations to Israel and Palestine and has friends in both countries. She will trace the history of the conflict and describe the daily life of Palestinians today.
There will be ample time for questions and discussion, according to a news release from the Rev. Fayre Stephenson.
The event is hosted by First Universalist Church of Norway as part of its 2023-24 Lecture Series, which features topics of national, state and local concern.
