I am endorsing Tim Cowan for Auburn City Council, Ward 2.
As a resident for over 20 years, Tim’s community involvement has ranged from a trustee at his church, a member of the Healthy Androscoggin Advisory Committee and past president and member of Community Little Theater.
Tim has been director of Community Health Surveillance and Evaluation at MaineHealth since 2009. His ability to analyze and interpret health data and his experience developing and managing an annual budget for the programs he directs would be an asset during Auburn’s budget discussions and decisions.
Tim’s greatest assets are his skills in listening, collaborating and encouraging others to share their opinions. Protecting Lake Auburn and providing affordable housing are two major issues, and Tim’s work experiences would prove invaluable as Auburn moves forward.
I am confident that a vote for Tim Cowan is a vote for Auburn’s positive future.
