Louis “Bert” Godin

AUBURN – Louis “Bert” Godin passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 24, 2023 just two days after his 93rd birthday.

He was the youngest of six children of the late George and Alma (Simard) Godin. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille (Dufresne) Godin after 52 years of marriage on Jan. 13, 2008.

He is survived by son, Raymond and his wife, Sandi of Eustus, his son, Bertrand, and his wife Andrea of Fenton, Mo., his daughter, Jeannine Godin of Lewiston; and a sister, Theresa Lafontaine of Lewiston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Fortin Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. at The Fortin Group, Auburn. Burial will follow in St Peter Cemetery, Lewiston.
