I urge Ward 2 voters to support Susan Longchamps for Lewiston’s City Council.
She is smart, caring, collaborative and practical. She wears many different hats, and engages with members of our community from every ward and every socio-economic and cultural background — and treats all with respect and dignity.
She is a savvy, determined, and civic-minded business owner who invests in and rehabilitates properties across our city, routinely creating local employment opportunities and bringing out the best in our neighborhoods and residents.
Her lifelong dedication to Lewiston is absolute. She believes deeply in our collective ability to find solutions to tough problems. She does her homework, asks others for their honest opinions, weighs options, and then holds herself and her colleagues accountable to follow through.
She is action-oriented and has no interest in obstructionist politics — there’s real work to do, and she’s ready to roll up her sleeves and get it done.
