I lived in Maine for 20 years. The mass shooting and loss of life in Lewiston broke my heart.
I appreciate U.S. Rep. Jared Golden’s change of mind and announcement regarding gun control. U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and U.S. Sen. Susan Collins gave him a lot of cover and support.
I look forward to hearing that he traveled to Lewiston and met with those families to make his personal amends to them. They deserve it, and he might learn something to help him be a better human and representative.
