The first lesson in the millinery course will begin tonight at the Blue Triangle at 7:30. Members are reminded to bring their frames, coverings and sewing materials with them. Any girl in doubt about what to get may inquire of Miss Fuller.

50 Years Ago: 1973

25 Years Ago: 1998

Western Area Agency on Aging is inviting seniors to attend a presentation on “Food Safety and a Diabetic Update” by nutritionist Robin Andrews at the Rumford Community Center on Congress St. at 11am, Nov. 16. Food poisoning can be avoided through safe food handling, according to Andrew, She is a registered, licensed diabetic and a certified health educational instructor.
