MANCHESTER — Aaron Young, 14, had a gentle heart and was concerned about other people’s happiness, according to his obituary. Those close to him remember him as a kind and thoughtful boy. He followed his father around and thought of him as a hero, he even wanted to be an auto mechanic like his father, according to his aunt Wendy Bell.
The Winthrop High School freshman was an excellent student, according to his obituary. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and video games with friends. He would sit with anyone, including those who were sitting alone, during lunch in school, according to friends who spoke during a vigil at the high school.
Aaron was at Just-In-Time Recreation bowling with his father, William Young, on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service Friday at Hope Baptist Church, 726 Western Ave. in Manchester beginning at 11 a.m., with a visitation scheduled before at 9:30 a.m.
