The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club donated $500 to the Bridgton Community Center to help them support local veterans.
“We are interested in supporting veterans who need help whether its fuel assistance, a ride to their doctor or raking leaves. We believe our dollars will be well spent,” remarked John Eliassen, president, according to a news release from Rotarian Carol Madsen.
Both Executive Director Darcey Pomerleau and the Community Resource Navigator Melissa Harmon get calls from veterans frequently and can use these resources well.

“They are a wonderful resource in the community and we partner with them whenever we can,” Eliassen said.
