BETHEL — Have you heard about cloudLibrary? This is the app that allows Bethel Library patrons to check out audiobooks and ebooks from a collection of thousands of titles. All you need is to have the app on your phone or tablet and a Bethel Library card.
This app has recently been updated to connect with our new MILS platform. So, if you had been using the app before the switch over you’ll need to enter new credentials to continue to use it. If this is your first time trying the app out, here’s how you do it:
First, select Bethel Library Association as your library. Then, enter your library card number. If you have a new library card, this will be the long barcode on the back of your library card. If you haven’t updated your card it will be your short library card number with ‘bet’ after the numbers. If you don’t know your number please reach out to the library by calling the phone number below.
Next, you’ll need to enter your password. Your password is going to be the last four digits of the phone number the library has on file for you. If you never gave the library a phone number, your password will be 9876.
And that’s it! You should now have access to thousands of titles.
If you go through these steps and still can’t get the app to work for you, please call the Bethel Library on 207-824-2520 during library hours. Monday, Wednesday, Saturday from 9-1. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 12-5.
