I hope Lewiston citizens cast their votes for Mayor Carl Sheline in the runoff election Dec. 12.

With a majority of new city councilors coming in, I believe Mayor Sheline would become a mentor to the new councilors in understanding and guiding them through the many facets of councilor responsibilities and understanding the city budget.

Mayor Sheline has and continues to support and encourage economic development, affordable housing and investing in the future of our children through our school system and through our vocational systems.

I hope residents vote for Carl Sheline Dec. 12 at the Longley School or by absentee ballot at the city clerk’s office on the second floor at City Hall.
