ANSWER: My thought is that it’s very important to keep these community suppers going throughout the winter. It gives everyone a convivial event to look forward to. Thank you to all the churches and organizations who work hard to make this happen.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Lisbon Area Christian Outreach Food Pantry will hold its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MTM Center on School Street in Lisbon Falls. There will be a bake sale, raffle tables, crafters, food, etc. Santa will be there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A variety of high-quality, handmade crafts and goods by 18 local crafters and artisans will be available. Families will enjoy a delightful holiday experience with face painting and piano music.
