WEST PARIS — It is the season of Thanksgiving. We have much and so many to be thankful for. Please note, the Dec. 17 worship service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Services are usually at 9 a.m., but we’re trying a later time to see how people like it. Refreshments following the service. All are welcome.
Dec. 3, This is How I Like to Remember It, led by Maryli Tiemann. As we step into Dec.’s chill, Maryli Tiemann returns with a reflection on old-fashioned Storytelling and the power of sharing memories, no matter how seemingly insignificant they might be. Reverberations from those willing to share their stories will be a part of this service.
Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., the church will host the Oxford Hills Ukulele Group (OHUG) for a Christmas sing-along. All are welcome. Goodwill Fellowship will also still be selling raffle tickets with the drawing after the sing-along. Light refreshments will be offered.
Dec. 10, Reconciliation, American Style, led by Bob Neal, who many may know from his regular Sun Journal column, ‘The Countryman’.
Dec. 17, Being Positive in Troublesome Times, led by Rodney Abbott. A discussion about how we can remain thankful and grateful even in hard times.
