RUMFORD – Linda A. Collins, 70, died Sunday Dec. 3, 2023, at the Hospice House in Auburn. She resided on Roxbury Road in Mexico.

Linda was born in Rumford on Nov. 29, 1953, and was a daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Record) Worthley. She was a graduate of Mexico High School and plus Gray Business School in Portland where she went on a full scholarship. She worked as a secretary at the Rumford Hospital. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, painting and was also a volunteer at the Hope Association in her younger years.

She was married to the late Richard Collins.

She is survived by her son, Eric of Mexico; a grandson, Kaden Collins of Mexico; sisters Donna Chaisson, and husband Randy of Rumford, Gail Cormier of Jay and Sandy Hurley and husband Joe of Massachusetts, and a brother, Bryan Worthley of Frye.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at St John Cemetery in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St. Rumford.
